Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the Magellan side sportsbar storage bag for a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Here we have the actual storage bag and you can see it's pretty robust. It almost has a heavy duty, almost suitcase like texture to it, which really should hold up. And I think it's really designed for that with a lot of tactical thought process involved.

In fact, it actually has a ballistic style plastic that's keeping this rigidity. And so it's gonna hold up for a long time. I like that it holds this shape here. Now, taking a look at the outside you're gonna see right away, you're able to actually put your utility knives or if you have tools or any accessories you may have, clips. You're gonna have plenty of options to put them on here as well as along the side.

Now you also see there's a zipper here or a nice little cargo compartment for just kind of maybe some personal items, no problem. But the great part is opening this up really, really shows you how much space you have. And the fact that it is rigid is nice because you can kind of utilize all this space, you don't have to worry about it crunching down like a suitcase at times and you have this nice net here to put your things as well as two pockets. And it's all carpeted lined so that's really nice to have. You also have this little clip here, which on some of my storage bags on my bike, I use these to clip keys onto, and you know that they're always gonna be here.

It's better than having to fumble around trying to find the jingling of keys down there, so that's a nice little addition as well. Now, flipping it around to the back you're also gonna see this long zipper here and you can kind of see what that inside liner actually looks like and feels like, it's pretty solid here but this could be a nice little pocket for maybe some things that you don't want seen or easily found. And the reason being is when this is mounted up like this, the zipper kinda hide back here and really only the person that's installed it wouldn't know that it's there. So kind of a nice little storage pocket that is just for the owner. Now, something else that's really nice on the outside that you'll see is gonna be this little handle and that's gonna be nice because when you do get to your destination, if you've packed your camping supplies your hunting, fishing, whatever you put in here you can actually just take your bag by snapping off the clips and take it with you.

It's gonna hold that form. So it's pretty great for whatever adventure you're going on. So we have one side installed and I'm gonna kind of just show you here, the actual mechanism. They have these nice pads that go around your rollbar here. And since this outside part of the sportsbar I guess you call it is painted, you don't want that getting scratched by some sort of strap moving up and down. Well, this one has a nice rubber coat here, so it's gonna prevent that. So even when you're not using your bags, you're not gonna have to worry about this scratching it up while it's on there. So you have a nice clip here, seems very well designed and durable and adjusting this to tighten around the sportsbar is gonna be pretty easy too. I like the fact that there is a little clip here and that way, when you tighten it down, you kind of get it into place. You can snap that in, it's gonna hold it. And then also there's this little clip here. So you can put your excess, just kind of bend those over and then you can kinda store it in there, that way you don't have that extra just kinda flapping around while driving. Now you can see these are designed to fit just perfectly in this spot, which normally is unusable. So why not get some storage up and that way you can have quick access because when you load up for an adventure a lot of times you have this bag pile packed with your cooler, whatever you may have. So trying to get some of your valuables or some of the storage stuff that you'd want to get to quickly can kind of rummage through that. Well, having this up and out of the way is gonna be really nice because quick access and it's gonna just mount perfectly and that's the best kind of storage. So to get this in place I'm gonna just take our straps here, flip that in, then I'm just gonna cinch this down a little here and again you have this nice rubber pad and really all that stress. So if you tighten it down that rubber's just gonna kind of seed onto it and you're not gonna have to worry about it getting scratched. So I have that one up top and before really tightening it down I'm gonna go ahead and get my other ones on. Then I'll go back and just tighten these here. So I just unlatch that and you can see even with that knot walking down it's great because when you tighten it it does have a nice little texture here that bites into it. So it really holds that in place. So you're not having to hold that in two handed kind of do that there. So that's really nice. Let's get this one tightened up as well. You can see it fits perfectly contoured to this rollbar. So really cool design. That's kind of the perks of owning their Jeep is you get a lot of the cool accessories and this one's no different. This is a really cool option for more storage. And that's kind of one of those things I've learned over time is having more storage has never been a problem. Now these do come as a pair and so you're gonna have both sides covered of your sportsbar. You're still gonna be able to use your rear view mirror to see out, so that's really nice. And really you just have a lot of storage that you added onto normally an unusable spot of your vehicle. So if you do go on adventures or just wanted added storage for whatever life brings you these are gonna be a great option for your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
